Tonight I tried a new twist and put two recipes together. Who am I kidding I don't ever really cook with recipes but I do cook to taste! Stuffed chicken breast with a rosemary/raspberry preserve glaze. Accompanying the chicken is a side of white rice and skinny green beans glazed with butter and salt and pepper. The stuffing of the chicken is ricotta cheese, rosemary, rubbed sage, garlic, salt, pepper, and parmesan cheese. The glaze is warmed raspberry preserve, honey mustard, rosemary and sage.
Normally, I do stuffed chicken with a breadcrumb crusting. The the raspberry glaze on a plain non-stuffed chicken breast. This combo meal is rich in flavor but it was delicious! Success :)
fashion forward foodie
I have always enjoyed cooking and the opportunity to share my food with other is one of the main reasons why I love to cook. I recently started sharing my meals with pictures on my Facebook and Twtter. But I wanted somewhere I could share with everyone the things I love the most: food and fashion. Start the day
Trying out this blog thing to share my favorite meals with you all. Started this morning/afternoon with a great brunch with my hubby. Scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and hash browns with onions. On the side we had fresh cut pineapple that I wanted to try a new taste with, so I added a pinch of cinnamon and sugar and they were fantastic!!! A great way to start a Sunday :)
